Being a huge music enthusiast, I wanted to create an informational poster about the spread of rap across the United States, while featuring influential pioneers of the genre. Through content
research. I had many mock-ups. and run Illustrations, I was able to develop a successful and interactive map. This project allowed me to learn more about the history of rap music as well as improve my digital illustration skills. Iconography, color, and scale all play a role in its success.
