Pan Am Airways stood out to me as a company that could use a refreshed brand identity. Though the company is now defunct, I challenged myself with creating a timeless and adaptive new look, as I believed the "current" Pan Am logo at the time was outdated and often found distorted. My process included researching the company, incorporating past elements and visual ideas, and evolving them into a bold, motion-driven logotype where it could be easily recognized. This logo and brand identity manual was displayed at the Senior BFA Exhibition Show at WVU.
