I tasked myself with building a zine using spot colors with a Riso printer. My goal was to bring attention to the ongoing struggle for peace the Ukrainian people are facing. I built this piece during 2021 when Russian leadership was hinting at another illegal annexation of Ukrainian territory. History, culture, and foreign conflict has always interested me so it was enjoyable to pull out key information and present it graphically, while experimenting with clashing elements, crossing visual boundaries.
